Oral Presentation
Basic Guidelines
Allocated Presentation Time: 12min (9 min. presentation + 3 min. Q&A)
* Please check your oral presentation schedule in the ‘Scientific Program’.
* Kindly check your presentation times as announced via E-mail.
- A slide ratio of 16:9 (widescreen) is recommended. If you submit it at 4:3, both sides of the slide may look black.
- Using the provided template is recommended, but not mandatory.
- Use a common font such as Arial, Times New Roman, etc.
- Presentation slides should be made in MS PowerPoint (2010 or newer version) file for smooth operation.
Presentation File Submission
Location: Preview Room (B1F, IDA Hall)
Operation Times:
✓ March 27 (Thu.), 07:00 - 18:00
✓ March 28 (Fri.), 07:00 - 18:00
✓ March 29 (Sat.), 07:00 - 12:00
- All speakers are requested to visit the Preview Room no later than 1 hour before their session.
- Please bring your file on a USB flash drive.
- Presenters are requested to check their presentation files to ensure they work correctly in our system.
- If your file contains video or audio, please inform our staff and check it with the system in advance.
- If you wish to present with your own laptop (IBM or Mac), you are required to test it the Preview Room at least 1 hour prior to your scheduled session.
Presentation Practice Room
In the IDA Hall lobby (B1F), we will have a special practice room so you can rehearse your presentation. The setup of this area is identical to the session room podium, making practicing more realistic. Feel free to visit the room 1-2 hours before your presentation.
Session Room Equipment
- Session rooms will be equipped with a computer running Windows (not Mac), projector and microphone.
- Podiums will be equipped with a monitor, mouse and smart pointer (No keyboard).
- The Slide Note function (Presenter View mode) will be provided by default.
Before Your Presentation
- Please be sure to keep to the allocated presentation time in consideration of the next speaker.
- Arrive at your session room at least 15 minutes before the session begins.
- You will be responsible for controlling/advancing your presentation slides.
